Game Meat Processing

During the hunting season we also do wild game processing. We ship our smoked products by request all over the country.

All meat must be presented as de-boned trim, fully cleaned of any bone splinters, dirt and hair as well as excess fat (deer tallow). If meat is found to be unclean, has a sour smell or shows other signs of spoilage, it will not be accepted at that time. If meat is presented frozen and upon thawing is determined to be unlcean or spoiled, you will be called to reclaim the meat as it will not be accepted for processing.

Our Story

Since 1952 the original Egger’s Good Meats was opened by John J. Egger and was located in the Chet’s Food Store on North Wall.

Now owned and operated by Greg and Jodi Traband and their sons, Egger’s Meats North sell a wide variety of specialty meats that includes on site smokehouse products such as hams, turkeys, our famous pepperoni sticks and jerky. Our fresh and delicious steaks, stuffed pork chops and sausages cannot be beat! Additionally we offer 18 varieties of fresh, made in house, bratwurst. We also offer convenient and affordable deli sandwiches & salads for a quick and easy stop for lunch.
